The fact is that the majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. Our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions carry us through our lives so we don’t have to stop and think about it every time we wipe our ass or start a car.
The problem is when we’re on autopilot for so long that we forget we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we no longer control them they control us.
The problem is that even though we have the ability to think and act rationally, when we aren’t even aware of ourselves we can still be influenced by other people’s actions. If I’m driving and I get a text that says I have to come back to work or I have to pay the bill, there’s still a strong chance that I’ll take the hint and drive to work.
The problem is when we’re not aware of ourselves we can still be influenced by other peoples actions.
What a great way to make the end of the world a little less believable and a little more sad.
I don’t know about you, but I have some great memories of the end of the world, and I’m sure I’ll be talking about it for years after that happens.
It’s worth noting that the apocalypse happened in 2005, in the spring and summer, and it wasn’t the end. The end of the world is usually something that happens around the end of another season in TV shows, movies, and video games. In fact, the last five seasons of American television have all started with “The End” ending.
In the end, the apocalypse happened on April 11, 2017, and it was the worst disaster since the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. What most people don’t realize (including those of us who spent our childhood in the 1990s) is that this wasn’t the end of the world in real life. This was simply the end of the world in a movie, and the end of the world in a video game.
