I have written many articles about people using self-aware thinking.

But I have never written one about self-aware thinking. I know that this is a common refrain from the self-aware crowd, but I don’t think it’s true. When you use your knowledge of your own habits, routines, impulses and reactions, you’re actually taking control of your own thought process. Your own behavior is dictated by your thoughts and your own beliefs. If you are aware of your own thinking, you can control your own actions.

Self-awareness is the ability to remember who you are, and use that to act in a way that is consistent with who you really are. It might seem like an odd thing to say, but the truth is that we all have this tendency to over-react to our own emotions and actions. I know I have a tendency to snap at people who cross me up, especially when I don’t like how they’re being treated.

The problem with over-reacting is that it creates a lot more problems than it solves. It’s also a bad habit that can easily derail your day and make you feel like you were wronged. If you over-reacted and over exaggerated what you thought was a wrong action, you could easily convince yourself that your opinion was right. Instead of trying to figure out if you were right, you could just continue to act out the way you were feeling.

I think the biggest problem with over-reacting to the whole thing is how it can make you feel like your opinion is right. One way to alleviate over-reacting is to think about it as an act of kindness. If you think that is what happened, then you are less likely to feel justified in your feeling of being wronged.

I really think that was the best way to get along with the people who made up the story, but I can’t see you ever letting it pass that far. You were always able to act out the way you were feeling; you only got one reaction when you were doing so.

It’s the same way with the people you love. You can always tell when someone is being difficult, but you can also easily tell when they are just being a regular person.
