How often do you post pictures of your home on social media? Do you try to get everyone’s attention? Most likely not.
The problem is that if you’re like most of us, this is often not the case. Our homes aren’t always on the front page of Facebook or Twitter, so we don’t always get the chance to try to get their attention. When we do, we usually don’t have a ton of other options.
Instead, we post pictures of our home. We tend to do this either by building a wall in our bathroom and hanging our favorite photographs on it, or via a Facebook post. We use a variety of images here, from the house itself to the things that surround us, and from the little things that we use to entertain us to the things that we do at our home to the big things that we hold near and dear.
If there is one thing that I think everyone with a social media presence wants, it’s a little attention from the people who matter. If there is one thing that everyone wants, it’s attention. A lot of the time, I’m not sure that we are getting that. Why is that? I think because we use the same platform to post photos of the house as we do to post photos of ourselves, and that is to our detriment.

This is why there are so many trolls. One of the reasons that social media is so difficult to use for those who are not on social media is that they have so many followers, accounts, and pages.
