Exactly right! No one actually posts more than they use. We all use it all the time, even if we don’t use a ton of it.
But, if it does, it has a purpose. We all use our social media platforms to engage in real-life conversations with our friends and family. However, the conversations we have and the connections we have are what make our social media platforms good.
I think we all know that Social Media is a big part of our lives. We’re talking about the free, fun, interactive social media platforms that exist for us to connect with people. And we can use them all we want. However, that doesn’t mean that we should. In fact, it’s important to remember that a ton of social media platforms are basically just advertisements for companies. In fact, companies create these platforms, and they get paid for using them.
Sure, you can get free content and free stuff by using Facebook, but in the end, it’s not really free. You’re paying for the user experience and the content. As someone who works for a tech company, I can tell you that I get an email from a customer once every two weeks, asking me what I’m working on and how they can help. And I get a sales rep asking me about their next big thing.
What companies create the platforms that we interact with in today’s online world? Google, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. These are the big, successful companies that we interact with everyday. I know people who have worked for companies like Facebook, and they get paid a lot for their work.
Facebook makes tons of money, but that means that it doesn’t have money to spend on marketing, advertising, or even hiring staff. The other big player in the space is Google. Google is the new kid on the block and they are still expanding at a very fast rate.
Google is one of the biggest players in the space. They do a lot of things. Like search, advertising, and YouTube. They also pay people to keep their services up and running. So while I’m not sure how much money I make a year as an employee, I would guess that I make somewhere between $40,000 – $80,000. Not too shabby.
On the flip side, Google has a few problems. One is that they are notorious for not paying their employees enough. They also have a reputation for not paying their contractors. So to make things even more confusing, Google employees have been known to pay their contractor’s a little less (and it can be hard to say which contractor was which).
The best way to combat this is to set up a “one time” payment. This way if things go wrong, you will be able to point to a specific company that was hurt by a specific mistake so that you can get another paycheck. The worst thing to do is to just give people a small amount and hope that they’ll use it.
That same method works for all of your contractors and you should avoid this tactic just because you can. At the end of the day though, you want to ensure that your contractors are not making any mistakes at all, so this will be a huge part of your relationship.
