Here are fifteen of my favorite Netflix shows that I’ve found with German dog names. Enjoy!

Dog’s names in German are a lot different than the ones we’re used to. They sound so much cuter, but there is one hurdle: they don’t have any vowels!

Dogs can be an important part of the family, and it’s important to find a good German name for them.

Netflix has more than enough options when looking for great shows about dogs! In this article we’ll explore 15 Netflix show names that are perfect if you’re on the hunt for the most popular or best dog films out there.

“Dogs: Their Secret Lives” is all about what goes on inside a pet home when humans aren’t around it’s up to their pets to keep things running smoothly. This documentary series (aka “dogumentary”) follows three different families in America who have opted into documenting their lives with cameras so they could monitor how well mannered their four-legged friends were.

The Dog Lover’s Guide to Everything

How Your Dog Can Tell You What He Needs.” This is a book about how dogs can help humans communicate and understand their thoughts and feelings in ways that are subtle, yet powerful. It’s written by the author of “Dog Smart,” which was an Amazon Best Seller for Animal Behavior Books in 2016!

15 Netflix Shows Featuring German Names For Dogs – The Pet Collective Channel Presents:

“Dogs of Berlin”

This show is about a German shepherd named Paul who gets adopted by his owner’s new girlfriend, Mona. The dog has to adjust from living in the countryside with just one person to being part of a big city household that includes six people and three other dogs plus lots of cats!

“Good Dogs”

Starring John Witherspoon (from “Friday”), this comedy-drama follows an older couple as they take on raising their newly adopted 13-year old daughter Rosie and her two Rottweiler puppies, Buddy and Mavis.

“The Secret Life Of Pets”

A pet goes out into the world for secret reasons while their human family stays at home

The best German puppy names are the ones that sound like commands, such as “Heel!” or “Leash!” These sounds come from days when a dog was used for work and they were trained to follow orders. In modern times however these words may serve as little more than cute nicknames.

If you’re looking for a name with meaning in both countries try using some of these: Fritzi (meaning free), Fritzie (a variation on Fred) or Hundi (hungry). And remember – there’s no need to limit your choices to German lingo! So if you happen upon an alluring Irish moniker like Tipperary while browsing through canine lists, feel free to use it too.

I love dogs. I don’t have one myself, but I am always looking for new ways to learn more about them. Luckily there are plenty of great TV shows on Netflix that revolve around our furry friends! Check out these 15 can’t miss TV shows and see what you think:

Paddington (2014)

A Dog’s Purpose (2017)

Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan (2004 – 2011)

My Cat From Hell (2010 – 2015)

..and many more! For the full list see below “In case you’re wondering.”

American Vandal:

This show satirizes the true crime genre by telling a fictional story of high school students who vandalize cars in their small town. The series follows an amateur investigation led by Tyler and his friend, Sam, as they interview classmates for clues that will prove who is behind the dastardly deed. As in many real life cases, it’s difficult to tell exactly what happened with no clear evidence either way – so this season might not have such a satisfying resolution! However, there are plenty of laughs along the way.

 On My Block:

In an effort to do something new or different from other shows on Netflix about teenagers growing up in tough neighborhoods like 13 Reasons Why and Glee (which I also highly recommend), On My Block tackles everything from drugs and gangs to sexuality in a raw, authentic way that’s never been done on the small screen before.

 The Innocents:

Set in 1950s England, this series follows two teenagers who are madly in love but can’t be together because of their social status. When they’re caught kissing by Evie’s father and sent away under suspicion they’ve engaged in sexual activity (a big no-no back then) it sets them off on an adventure where nothing is what it seems – the search for freedom has only just begun!

One of the best shows on Netflix, The 100 is an action-packed show with great characters and twists. It’s a dystopian future where Earth has been contaminated by nuclear radiation and 97% of humanity has perished as a result. In space, in order to survive, human beings have created floating stations called “Arkadia” that are shielded from the harsh environment outside.

One hundred juvenile criminals were sent down to earth for crimes committed when they first arrived at Arkadia but soon learned life was much different than it appeared due to unforeseen consequences. They had no choice but to learn how to live among themselves if any hope existed for them ever leaving this world alive. This series will keep you hooked until the end!
