Why not? Staedtler is an excellent brand. I have this exact eraser from about 30 years ago and I'm not surprised that Staedtler is still selling it. Staedtler is the Mercedes of drafting/office supplies and their products are excellent. This eraser is excellent quality. It will remove all vestige of your pencil marks in a very Teutonic, no nonsense and highly efficient manner. It doesn't have any scent, fancy shape or fancy packing, it just does it's job extremely well! I'm happy to see Staedtler products being sold on Amazon.
