I don't see how this pad of paper can cost 9 dollars, but it's not a ton of money to begin with so I wouldn't say it's a huge letdown.
The lines are a little darker than I'd like, but overall the product is very high in quality and utility. -- Probably overpriced, but a good product
I've been using Tops graph paper for years. It was especially beneficial in my math classes; diagramming formulas and matrices were a whole lot easier with the faint graph lines showing through the top. I also use this paper with computer programming and diagramming because of the faint graph display - makes my outlines nice and neat and readable.

Engineering Paper is my favorite type of paper. I design and develop software for a living so having paper that helps me to draw diagrams and models is a communication tool that I value.
I prefer this type of paper over regular grid paper for communicating software design and concepts because every 5th line in the vertical and horizontal axis is bold. It makes drawing clean looking diagrams freehand much easier than with any other type of paper I've used. -- I love this paper
This is engineering paper. It is supposed to be blank on the front. The dark on the back shows through for drawing puposes and when you copy (like copy machine, not re-write) it, the copy doesn't show the grid and you look like a drafting/skteching whiz drawing perfectly orthagonal diagrams, freehand. Those seeking graph paper will love this, but note the 5 squares per inch. .2 inch squares are great for engineers and people doing dimensions in decimals. Architecture types wanting 1/4 inch squares need to stick with the boxy blue stuff. -- Best product out there
